| Q: What is involved in hosting a dinner?
A: As a host, you invite your friends, relatives and neighbors to come to your home (or other venue) for dinner between March 1 and April 4 and make a contribution to this important cause. Donations made payable to “Adopt-A-Minefield” are tax deductible in Canada and the USA.
Q: How do I register to become a Host?

If the date isn't convenient for you, feel free to choose an alternate date that will attract the biggest turnout.
Q: How does the N1KD Web site help me organize my dinner?
A: The site will provide you with all the tools you need to register as a host, to invite and register your guests, and to keep track of their contributions. The site also offers some delicious recipes from each of Adopt-A-Minefield's program countries to give your guests a taste of the exotic!
Q: How do I invite and register my guests?
A: In your private "My Dinner" section, you will find a link to "Invitation Toolkit". This function will let you create an e-mail or printed invitation to your dinner. You only need to enter your guests' names and e-mail addresses, and the program will do the rest.
Q: How do I register confirmed guests?
A: When a guest receives your e-mail or printed invitation, they will be given a direct link to an RSVP page on the N1KD Web site. By visiting this page, your guest can signify his or her attendance and the size of their party. They can also make a direct donation using the secure, online credit card system. This payment and their confirmation (or regrets) will be recorded in the database for your private "My Dinner" management section. A tax acknowledgment will automatically be sent by e-mail.
